Perhaps progressives in Ottawa’s Cancel culture should have consulted the Freedom Convoy organizers on how to hold a protest—because theirs was a bust.

There were no protesters at the Canadian Tire Center in Ottawa on Monday. No police horses, riot squads, guns, tear gas, handcuffs, hot tubs, or bouncy castles — and no declaration of the Emergency Act.

But against the “nihilists” and “neo-Marxists” Jordan Peterson won this round. They could still try to take away his license as a psychologist, but he scored a knockout on Monday night.
Despite the frantic attempt to cancel Peterson, the event attracted more than 5,000 fans who enjoyed every minute of it. However, nobody seemed to love it more than Peterson himself.
The world-renowned professor, author, and psychologist not only didn’t hold back, he captured the best shots of the night.
“Where are the ’36 organizations’ calling for the event to be cancelled?” Peterson chuckled on Twitter as he showed the size of the large crowd. “There were exactly zero protesters.”

“CBC News, do you have anything to say about that? No? I didn’t think… you pathetic lying cowards.”
You can try this guy with cheap punches and low punches, but not without a counter punch to the chops. He’s a fierce opponent in the ring.
The only visible protester was on social media — not stationed outside the Ottawa Senators’ home. Peterson also had comebacks for her.

“Jordan Peterson is spewing far-right, misogynistic rhetoric in my drive tonight. Instead of condemning Peterson’s hatred, Pierre Poilievre defends him. You can tell a lot about someone by the company they keep,” Liberal MP Jenna Sudds tweeted.
Sudds didn’t mention her affiliation with notorious-for-black Prime Minister Trudeau, but Peterson took to Twitter to fire back.

“Did you come to the lecture and hear what I have to say, or are you content to stay online and use the antisocial narcissistic tactics of antisocial women to denigrate, insult and exclude them?”
Peterson’s penchant for standing up to haters is one of the reasons so many Canadians — shackled by the liberal-left mafia who want to freeze bank accounts and ban opinion — love him. They can’t say anything themselves and are glad that someone with such a high IQ has the courage to stand in the ring and fight.

Heading to London for an appearance on Tuesday, followed by another in Hamilton on Wednesday, Peterson said he was focusing on the people who covet free speech, not those who want it shut down.
“I try to give those who are listening and watching a vision of themselves and others that is scientifically and metaphysically or even religiously grounded,” Peterson told me. “A unifying vision is necessary, technically and practically. It strengthens people against fear, gives hope and lays the foundation for a truly peaceful and productive unity.”
He added: “Those who believe that the only dynamic is power, whether they are cynical nihilists, radical neo-Marxist leftists, or ethnocentric nationalists, defy my testimony because they are opposed to responsibility and unwilling to bear the burden of courage and… to bear truthfulness in conduct and hope to raise their moral stature by belittling those they too comfortably regard as enemies.”

Peterson said he and members of his audience are nobody’s enemy.
“They claim that what I say is political and act as if the people who come to me are doing it for political reasons.”
Not true – they only want to think for themselves in a free country.
Turns out no one came to the Ottawa arena to protest.
