USA vs Colombia live stream, TV channel, lineups, and rosters for USMNT friendly

The United States used some exciting young talent against Serbia on Wednesday and although the game ended in a 2-1 loss, there were plenty of positives to be drawn from the 90 minutes.
Now acting head coach Anthony Hudson is hoping to lead the USMNT to a win when they host Colombia at Dignity Health Sports Park in Southern California.
The defeat by Serbia saw some players earn either their first or second international caps, with striker Brandon Vazquez scoring on his international debut. A few defensive errors proved costly, however, as Serbia scored in quick succession at half-time.
With these two games taking place outside of a FIFA international window, both teams have squads that lack most of their best European talent. As such, it’s more of a chance for fringe players to get noticed than it’s meant to generate wins or FIFA ranking points.

Lineups USA vs Colombia team news
It’s likely that acting head coach Anthony Hudson will herald the changes for this game, bringing in some of the regulars who didn’t see the field against Serbia. World Cup selection Jesus Ferreira is the most notable player to start, which would be tough Brandon Vazquez who scored a great goal on his debut on Wednesday. But there’s a good chance Hudson will want to bring the FC Dallas forward into the game.
A notable absence from the game against Serbia was Paxten Aaronson, a rising young star that many fans had been hoping for. He could feature in this game too, either from the start or from the bench. Cade Cowell could be rewarded with another wing start for his man-of-the-match performance against Serbia.
In goal, it wouldn’t be shocking to see the 18-year-old keeper Gaga Slonina a different start, although veteran sean johnson could be given a game in recognition of his years of service, especially if the program moves in a different direction as it sees the next batch of goalkeepers for the new World Cup cycle.
Estimated starting line-up USA (4-3-3): Slonina (GK) – Gressel, Zimmerman, Long, Tolkin – Williamson, Acosta, Aaronson – Cowell, Ferreira, Arriola.

Like the US team, coach Nester Lorenzo looks to the future with today’s game. Still, he would like to bring some experience to the team to help the youngsters integrate into the game.
By far the most experienced player in the Colombia squad is the Boca Juniors full-back Frank Fabraand not only could he start, but he could probably wear the captain’s armband.
Estimated starting line-up for Colombia (4-4-2): Montero (GK) – Mosquera, Llinas, N. Hernandez, Fabra – Borrero, Velasquez, Campuzano, Ruiz – C. Hernandez, Arango.
USA vs Colombia rosters, squad
As this game does not fall within a specific FIFA international window, clubs have not had to release players for international duty.
As a result, both teams have fielded a fringe squad that doesn’t feature many star players on either side, with top-flight players from Europe largely absent.
USA squad against Colombia
The US roster for this game is a young roster with a sprinkling of established veterans like Walker Zimmerman, Paul Arriolaand Kellyn Acosta alongside well-known names sean johnson and Aaron Long. But alongside those mainstays, there are a host of young talent fans who will be excited to see them take the field.
Highly touted Gabriel “Gaga” SloninaWho just switched to Chelsea at the age of 18 is part of the squad and should get a longer look. With teenagers Paxten Aaronsonyounger brother of Leeds United and USMNT star Brenden Aaronson, is also on the list having recently joined German club Eintracht Frankfurt.
There has been a lot of talk about dual nationality Alejandro Zendejas, who accepted this call from the USA. He played well against Serbia in the defeat but had to return to Club America after the game, so he won’t be available for this game against Colombia.

Colombia vs USA squad
While the Colombia squad isn’t quite as marginal as Serbia (four caps in total between the 17 Serbian players who come into play on Wednesday), it’s still a very young and inexperienced group. Boca Juniors left-back Frank Fabra is the only player in the squad with more than three caps, and even he hasn’t contributed much to Colombia since 2017.
The squad includes six players from MLS clubs. Portland Timbers fans will be excited to see the young right-back Juan David Mosquera possibly see the field, having only joined the MLS squad last July. Another young MLS development is the New England forward Dylan Borrero who came from Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro last spring and was at times a spark off the bench.
LAFC forward Christian Arango will play in his club’s hometown, albeit at the stadium of his arch-rivals. He has scored 32 goals in 54 MLS games for LAFC and could see this as an opportunity to break into the regular senior team. Forward of the Columbus Crew Cucho Hernandez was exceptional, having arrived from Watford last summer and also received a call-up.
