The death of Nancy Lavery (née Mungovan), The Haymarket, Cathedral Place, Limerick City, Limerick has occurred
Formerly from Garryowen, Limerick. Nancy died peacefully at Milford Care Centre.
Deeply regretted by her loving husband Ger, sons Brian and Paul, Brian’s partner Mags, daughter-in-law Tina, grandchildren Áela and Amelia, siblings Patsy, Michael, Alan, Christopher, Mary, Rosaleen and Deirdre, other relatives and friends. May she rest in peace.
Resting on Monday (January 30) from 3.30pm to 5.30pm at the Cross Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street.
Burial will take place on Tuesday (31 January) at St John’s Cathedral for the 11am Requiem, with burial to follow at Castlemungret Cemetery, Mungret.

Death has occurred by Mary Tobin (née Nestor) Askeaton, Limerick / Tallow, Waterford
The death of Mary Tobin (née Nestor), of Askeaton, Co Limerick, occurred at the Galway Clinic on 27 January 2023, aged 94. Surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Jim, brothers Billy and John, sisters Kathleen and Tina.
Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family, Máire, (Limerick), Micheál, (USA), Susan, (O’Neill, Cork), Catherine, (Limerick), grandchildren, Lorna, Brennie, Niamh, Clíodhna, Neasa and Deirdre, great-grandchildren Caoimhe, Emily and Cillian, brothers Tom, Michael and Connie, sisters Nora and Nancy, son-in-law, Brendan, daughter-in-law, Rozenna, partner, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, niece, nephew, cousin Bridie, relatives and a large circle of friends.
On Sunday from 5am to 7am at the Kieran Madigan Funeral Home, Main Street, Askeaton (Eircode V94 K598).
Arrive at St Mary’s Church Askeaton on Monday for the 12 noon requiem mass. Funeral to follow at Tallow, Co. Waterford (Eircode P51 ED65), arriving around 3.30pm.

Kieran passed away peacefully at Milford Care Center on January 27, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Colette (née Hitchings), his beloved children Luke, Hayden & Caoimhe, his mother Mary, sisters Denise & Deirdre, brothers-in-law Raymond & Ger, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, kind neighbors and his many colleagues and friends. Rest in peace.
On Monday, January 30 from 5:00 p.m. at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate. Procession to St. Patrick’s Church, Ahane at 6:30pm. Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 31 at 11:30 am.
Burial afterwards in Stradbally Cemetery, Castleconnell.
