Husband Tells Wife ‘Back of the Buffett Line!’ Is He a Jerk?
Sometimes the smallest things can lead to an “explosive” argument between a husband and wife.
If you happen to be in a relationship, you already know that there is a long list of things that can cause arguments between you and your significant other. Money, family, jobs, the list goes on and on, but I can guarantee that this argument-starter between a Hudson Valley couple is most likely not on your list of things to argue about.
For some, love is in the air with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, but for a Hopewell Junction couple, they need to end a recent argument before they can celebrate…LOL!
Larry shared with us what happened between him and his wife last weekend and he hopes the Hudson Valley could help him with that. He wrote,
“Hey Cj and Jess, I’ve heard you guys talk about ‘idiot’ stories before and never thought I’d ever have to write to see if I’m an idiot or not, but here I am. Last weekend me and the wife attended an event with a buffet dinner. When the venue opens for everyone to queue (over 200 people), I tell her I’m going to get some food. So I get up and find my place in line to eat. She nods to me and continues talking to some friends. After waiting in line for about 10 minutes, I’m just about to get to the table when she saunters over to me and goes to the front. I stopped her and pointed to the back of the line and say the line starts there, no cutsies. She looks at me like “ha ha, very funny” and keeps coming at me. I’m saying no, I can’t have you cut in front of all these other people. She went to the end of the line, waited, and when she came back to the table, her seal blew. Was I an idiot for not letting her do it to me?”
is he an idiot
FURIOUS!! I hate to say this, but I think bringing them to the end of the line might have been a foolish move. I understand where Larry came from and think someone on the line might have gotten angry for letting her in front of them but it’s YOUR WIFE!! I come from the world of “happy woman, happy life”.

Hudson Valley Restaurant Perfect for your Valentine’s Day
Spoil your Valentine’s Day with a romantic dinner at one of these five clueless Hudson Valley restaurants. They offer the perfect combination of food and drink with a dining experience that feels intimate. I like to say that these places are hiding in plain sight. You know them, you drive past them and now it’s time for a romantic dinner. From Kingston to Rhinebeck to Cornwall, West Park and Milton, New York, it will be difficult to decide if you need to visit all five.
