Kate Middleton’s Royal Take on the Barbiecore Trend Is Elegant and Easy to Copy

Once again, Kate Middleton looked pretty in pink!
On January 26th, the Prince and Princess of Wales visited Windsor Foodshare for a day out together. Instead of donning her signature winter uniform—a neutral turtleneck dress—she surprised us all. Kate opted for a hot pink turtleneck and matching pink coat.
She styled her jacket and shirt, which were a little redder than the typical Barbiecore hue, with black pants, some matching heels and a pair of gold hoop earrings.

Barbiecore pink has been a well-received color among A-listers lately, and now Princess too. (Though this isn’t the first time Kate has worn pink.) In December, Gwyneth Paltrow wore a V-neck sweater in the brilliant hue and Selena Gomez wore an off-the-shoulder sweater in Valentino pink. And now the stars are branching out into even lighter shades of pink. Jennifer Lopez recently wore a bubblegum-colored dress while promoting her new movie forced marriage.
