Molly-Mae Hague reveals baby daughter’s unusual name

Molly-Mae Hague has revealed that she and Tommy Fury have named their newborn daughter Bambi.

In the post’s caption, Hague confirmed the couple’s choice, writing, “Bambi” along with a white heart emoji.

The child’s aunt Paris Fury also shared a sweet message, writing: “Her name is just as sweet as her. It was a pleasure to see you today, she is absolutely perfect.”

In the joint post, Fury could be seen holding the baby as he sat next to Hague in her hospital bed. Hague also shared a photo of herself cradling her daughter on her Instagram Stories, where she opened up about the happiness she feels as a mother.
“I can’t believe we get to keep you forever. Becoming your mom was the best thing that ever happened to me,” she wrote. “It seems impossible, but my love for you grows with every moment that passes. There’s no feeling holding you in my arms my little one, my heart just explodes.”
She continued, “Thank you for entering this world safely for us and for blessing us with the gift of being your parents. We promise to love and care for you unconditionally forever.”
The baby’s name reveal comes after Hague previously hinted that fans would either love or hate the moniker she and Fury have chosen for their child.
“It’s not made up, it’s not made up at all, I can’t explain it. It’s just not a name that’s ever been used before. It’s very, very different and rare and you’ll either love it or hate it,” Hague said during a pre-birth YouTube Q&A.
At the time, the 23-year-old revealed that she had been picking the name since she was “a little girl herself” and that it was “always a dream name for a little girl.”
“Luckily, when I met Tommy and told him the name I’d always dreamed of, he was totally hooked too,” she said, adding, “It’s a really very unusual and different name, I don’t know anyone else’s name.” I’ve never seen another girl with that name, it’s so different.”
According to parent source BabyCenter, Bambi is of Italian origin, meaning “child.” As for the popularity of the name, the website notes that it is ranked 10,002 in their list of the most popular baby names of 2022.
