Student-athletes announce plans on Lowcountry Signing Day 2023

CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) — Wednesday marks National Signing Day across the country as high school athletes sign their National Letters of Intent to take their sport to the next level.
The Charleston County School District recognized 45 athletic students who will participate in National Signing Day. These students represent six district schools and a total of 10 sports.
Steve LaPrad, who has just been reinstated as head football coach at Fort Dorchester High School after abruptly resigning earlier this month, took the stage at the school’s autograph session to great applause.
Check back here throughout the day for the latest updates, images, video and more from across the Lowcountry.
