This Christmas, enjoy the best time of the year at The Midland, a Royal Leonardo Hotel. Manchester’s most famous hotel has been transformed into a winter wonderland for the festive season, so guests are welcome to unwind from Christmas shopping, enjoy a party with friends or even treat yourself to a sleepover.
Seasonal menus and packages put everyone in a party mood.
This December, celebratory afternoon tea returns to the Tea Room. Guests can enjoy a glass of mulled wine before sitting down to a delicious seasonal selection of sandwiches. This is followed by a selection of wintry homemade cakes such as white chocolate mousse with cranberry and orange compote and a firefly rum snowball.
The celebratory afternoon tea is served from 12:00 to 16:30 and includes a glass of champagne and is available until 14:00nd January, at £44 per person.
Those who like to start their Christmas celebrations with a cocktail can head to The Midland Champagne Lounge, where the bar team have created a selection of limited edition seasonal cocktails.
Choose from a Merry Martini (vanilla vodka, Baileys, amaretto and milk), a Gingerbread Mojito (Bacardi, gingerbread syrup, lime wedges and mint leaves) or a Christmastini (Mozart Dark Chocolate Liquor, Cointreau and Orange Juice), all for £9 per cocktail. Kids can get in the mood with a Grinch Punch (pineapple juice and green paint) for £4.50.
The Mount Street Dining Room & Bar is ready for a celebratory dinner with a two or three course menu for lunch and dinner. In this modern British dining room, which offers refined living in a luxurious Art Deco setting, diners can enjoy smoked Midland salmon, turkey breast wrapped in Parma ham, mulled wine and poached pear opera cake, ending with coffee and petit fours.
The Mount Street Festive Menu is served until 30 December (excluding Christmas Day), the lunch menu is £29 for two courses and £36 for three courses, the evening menu is £32 for two courses and £39 for three gears.
